PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering your child over the age of 9 they must be able to attend alone as parents cannot stay unless they are also signed up for lessons. Dates and time cannot be changed.  No refunds for missed classes.

Classes will be offered in three week intervals for all,skil levels, beginner to advanced. This is how it will work.

Week 1:  You will learn the basics of how to operate a pottery wheel and create three to four items using kiln fired stoneware clay (the good stuff). Your new creations will "rest" under plastic for a week to become "Leather Hard"

Week 2: You will return to trim the bottoms of your creations, add details such as handles, scrfito designs, underglaze colours or many more to be discussed and taught on that day.

Week 3:  Your items will be kiln fired to bisque stage. You will be able to peruse my "Wall of Colour" and pick out your favourite coloured high fire glazes

Your projects will be ready for pick up approx 2 weeks from last class.

If you chose to book more than one session,in the next session, we will explore more advanced project ideas, Eg. plates, lidded items as well as interesting painting techniques eg. Majolica, Japanese Brush Painting, Underglaze transfer, Underglaze Scrafitto etc.

Each set of 3 dates is considered a 3 week session.  Dates and times cannot be changed or switched around. Makeup classes only available due to bad weather and not for individual absences.
